Amber + Caiti
Picture a series of long farmhouse tables tucked under a stark white pavilion, twinkling with bistro lights amidst the backdrop of a cool, dark lake. The tables are flooded with giant white hydrangeas, roses + varying greenery, mixed antique glassware, terracotta linens done up in bows of twine, wooden chargers topped with matte black plates + an abundance of candles.
The property is scattered with vintage furnishings in deep earth tones. Guests pile upon the velvet couches as they sip peach bourbon smashes + spicy jalapeño margaritas, sharing not only leg space, but memories as well.
The layers of lovely details were literal eye candy for Amber + Caiti's guests.
The Burch House is tucked miles away from any signs of city life, so the only sounds you hear are the bellowing laughs of life-long friends, the music beginning to start up, the crack of fresh lobster tails, + the gentle chirp of the evening's woodland creatures.
Guests find themselves occupied with rich espresso martinis poured from an ice sculpture, a decadent dessert bar, + a flashing dance floor that nods with little subtly to the new couple's favorite local bar.
Situated front + center are two of the most in love souls you have ever encountered.
You would find it nearly impossible to locate a guest that could take their eyes off of them - ironically so, as they can barely take their eyes off one another.
The evening exudes beauty, love, + a true classic elegance.
One would imagine it was plucked straight from a dream, but it really happened on that crisp night in February.
Highlight of the Evening: The Second Proposal
Caiti knew she wanted to gift Amber with her ring at their First Look. We decided only moments before that Caiti was also going to propose.
While Amber had already proposed to her, Caiti wanted Amber to have that special moment as well. (𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘨𝘪𝘳𝘭 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘢 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘦.)
So we lined Caiti up on one knee right behind Amber, + when she turned around, Caiti popped the question.
Amber was so surprised + excited! She kept exclaiming, “Are you proposing? Oh my goodness, you look so beautiful. I love you so much!”
And of course, she did say yes. 😉
